General Election 2019: All you need to know

The Lok Sabha polls 2019 will be held in seven stages from April 11 to May 19. The following are the dates on which the seven-stage elections will happen.

Lok Sabha election 2019 Time-Table: Phase I

The stage 1 of elections for the Lok Sabha polls will start on April 11. The stage 1 of elections will be held in 91 Lok Sabha or parliamentary seats in a sum of 20 states.

The states that are set to go for the elections in the stage 1 of Lok Sabha polls are: Andhra Pradesh (25 seats), Arunachal Pradesh (2), Assam (5), Bihar (4), Chhattisgarh (1), Jammu and Kashmir (2), Maharashtra (7), Manipur (1), Meghalaya (2), Mizoram (1), Nagaland (1), Odisha (4), Sikkim (1), Telangana (17), Tripura (1), Uttar Pradesh (8), Uttarakhand (5), West Bengal (2), Andaman (1) and Lakshadweep (1) .

Lok Sabha Election 2019 schedule: Phase 2

The Phase 2 of the Lok Sabha polls 2019 will be hung on April 18. A sum of 97 Lok Sabha seats spread crosswise over 13 states will go into elections in the phase 2.

The polling in stage 3 of the Lok Sabha elections are scheduled on April 23 out of an aggregate of 115 seats spread crosswise over 14 states.

The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Phase 4 polling has been planned for April 29. The vote will be casted in a sum of 71 constituencies of nine states.

Lok Sabha election 2019 schedule: Phase V

Polling in Phase 5 of the Central Election 2019 will be held on May 6. Phase 5 polling will be held in 51 Lok Sabha constituencies spread around in seven states.

Voting in the last round or phase 7 of the General Election 2019 will be held on May 19. In the phase 7 of the Lok Sabha elections, 59 Lok Sabha seats in eight states will vote.
