BJP’s Ranjanben Bhatt is leading from Vadodra Lok Sabha constituency. In 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had contested from the seat and had won by a huge margin apart from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.

BJP president Amit Shah is leading by over 60,000 votes over Congress’ CJ Chavda. Interestingly, it’s Shah’s first parliamentary election and he’ll become a Member of Parliament from the lower house for the first time if he wins.

Out of 26 seats, BJP is leading in 17 in Gujarat. In 2014, BJP had won all the parliamentary constituencies of the state.
Gandhinagar: All the 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat went to polls in the third phase of the general elections 2019 on April 23. The state of Gujarat is located on the western coast of India and is a highly industrialised state. It has given two Prime Ministers in Morarji Desai and Narendra Modi to the nation and is considered to be a bastion of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which had won four straight Assembly elections in the state.
The state of Gujarat is divided into 26 Lok Sabha and 182 Assembly segments. It is rated among one of the most developed states in the country and has a literacy rate of the state is 78.03 per cent. The state is divided into 33 districts with Gandhinagar as its capital and has a total population of 6.27 crore.
