PM Modi reiterates Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday thanked the people of the country for giving such a huge mandate to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and reiterated that the party is committed to fulfilling the dreams of 13 crore Indians. He further assured that the BJP-led Central government will be at the forefront of pro-people governance and facilitating legislation along the lines of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.’

PM Modi took to his official Twitter handle and shared a string of tweets expressing his government’s commitment towards people. He tweeted, “BJP is grateful for people’s blessings. We assure our fellow Indians that we will be at the forefront of pro-people governance & facilitating legislation that manifests the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.’”

In another tweet, he said, “We, the NDA family look forward to fulfilling the dreams of 130 crore Indians, who have reposed unparalleled faith in our alliance. We shall fulfill regional aspirations and work untiringly for national progress.”

The Prime Minister held a parliamentary party meet which had Union Home Minister and BJP president Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari among several others in attendance.

Earlier in the day, an all-party meeting took place for the first time since the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and before the start of the Monsoon Session. Rajnath Singh was appointed Deputy Leader of the party in the Lok Sabha while Thawar Chand Gehlot was made Leader of the party in the Rajya Sabha with Piyush Goyal made his deputy.

The first session of the 17th Lok Sabha will commence from June 17 and end on July 26 while the Union Budget will be presented by the new NDA government on July 5. On the first two days of the session, Members of Parliament (MPs) will take the oath while the election of the Speaker of the 17th Lok Sabha will be held on June 19.
